Eighteen month stats

At Micah's 18-month appointment yesterday, we learned that he is 32.5 inches tall (55th percentile), 24 lbs., 10 oz. (35th percentile), and has a head circumference of 47 cm. (30th percentile).  He's moving up on the charts, but he's nowhere near as big as Levi was at this age.  Oh well!  On the other hand, he has added the words "baby" and "cheese" to his vocabulary.  He's an earlier talker than Levi.

Eighteen Months Old

Micah is eighteen months old today!  I'm not sure how time could have gone by that quickly!  Micah has been so much fun lately.  He recently started running, and it is adorable!  He also loves playing in the water (with the garden sprayer).  He has started approximating a lot of words: ball, giraffe, sock, blue, book, thank you.  And he has absolutely nailed "daddy."  His personality is really starting to shine through.  He's smart, and he knows where things go and what should happen next, but he's also pretty dramatic.  Any offence or difficulty yields the same level of tears and unhappiness, so it's hard to tell how serious his problems really are.  Although he has always enjoyed cars and trains, his latest love is books.  We just love our little man!

Fourth of July

We had a lot of fun at Donna and Orv's again this year!  I didn't take many pictures because we were busy playing on the beach, in the yard, with the dog, with games, and with instruments.  We left Indianola at 9:15, just before the fireworks really got going, but we saw a lot of them on our drive home.  It was a great day!
Micah was sweet and talkative all afternoon.

Aunt Donna's song "Three Foot Two" is always a hit with Levi!

Summer Sillies

Afternoon at the park

Helping Daddy in the yard

Had a few "Laurel and Hardy" moments with the big garden tools.

Sprinkler fun!

GG invented a hilarious new game for Micah: hang the keychain on the walker, pull on it, and let it fly through the air!

This coyote was just standing around behind the fence.  He looked young and seemed to be enjoying the scents of garbage day.  He made us late for storytime at the library.
Ready for fun at the beach at Ruston Way!
