Pumpkin Patch #2

Today was our annual trip to the pumpkin patch with Bob.  We got lucky with the weather again; the sun even came out.

Goofy Levi!

Nathan got SO CLOSE to the barrel this year with his pumpkin slingshot!

Levi wanted to try, too!  However, there was a chocolate lab who was chasing all the pumpkins.  She got pretty close to Levi.  With that and all the pressure to hold the slingshot a certain way, he changed his mind.  Thankfully, they gave us our money back!

This year we went on a hay ride.  Levi loved it!!!  He didn't want to get off at the end.  Actually, before we climbed on the trailer, he was thinking he was going to get to ride in the tractor itself.  Maybe someday, buddy!

I want that one, Mommy!

Here are my guys!

Pumpkin Patch #1

Took the boys to Scholz Farm and Pumpkin Palace this year.  What a great time we had!  We got lucky with the weather, and the animals were lots of fun.  Levi surprised me by walking clear to the far end of the pumpkin field, but Micah kept up with his brother the whole time.

I'm not sure what they were pointing at, but my favorite part of this picture is actually the four-story "Old Goat Hotel" on the left.  It's a special platform in the goat's pen!  Ha!  I'm disappointed the goat wasn't climbing on it while we were there.

His name is Newt.

Entering the corn maze.  It was nice and easy, and the boys could have wandered around in here for an hour.

Gingerbread Levi.

Favorite part of the pumpkin patch?  The plastic kitchen set.  Who knew?

Must copy big brother.

Looking at the cute little pig.  (I wasn't able to lure Levi away from the kitchen so easily.)

Giddyup!

Don't thesed donkeys have the sweetest faces?

Twenty-one months old

He's growing up so quickly!  Our 21-month-old is full of energy!  Micah can totally keep up with his older brother, who, conveniently, is a bit of a slow-poke.  He uses a lot of different words for communicating; however, most words are missing their initial consonants, so you have to know what he's talking about before you can understand what he's saying.  Micah LOVES to be helpful!  He's always putting away the dishes, washing things, and turning off the lights that he can reach.  He even picks up after Levi.  And he has the best laugh ever!
